Folk Danes is a Danish show team consisting of dancers and fiddlers aged 19-34. In our show, we combine traditional folk dances and folk tunes from all over Denmark with modern elements.

We will perform some of our Åland folk dances to the accompaniment of two accordionists. We have about 50 folk dances recorded.

We are from Nuuk, association N.A.I.P. erected in 1959 we perform folk dance, drum dance, mask dance and theater. This year we have friends from East Greenland.

Folkdansringen Gothenburg youth represents three different dance associations and presents a program in wonderful collaboration between musicians and dancers. The audience is invited to a three-beat dance in the form of pole-shoes and waltz, and the traditional intrigue dance Oxdans, which has been taken to a new level.

LIM invites... LIM is an invented, long-awaited and well-liked folk dance band that is making a comeback on Arendal's stages. The band invites you to a Dansbanedans dance where both the audience and the dancers get to enjoy both fast-paced and calm moments. The dancers mix fresh the folk way of dancing in the slightly more modern, without forgetting the affinity with each other.

In the Viulat group in Kangasala Folk Dancers, we are young people from 11 to 17 years old who dance traditional Finnish folk dances. We love the fast Karelian dancers, but our local dance traditions are so important to us. The Eskola family is responsible for the music.

The Cultural Folk Dance Guild works to create new things based on traditions - to preserve and develop. We adapt old dances to suit our group, the stage, and the present.

Leikarringen in BUL Kongsberg celebrates 100 years in 2024! The mining town of Kongsberg is 400 years old this year. The Kongsberg song, which we sing and dance to, seen ramma for framsyninga, together with local tour dancers.

Pojo Folkdansare consists of dancers of different ages from Raseborg. We dance the polo nose The Old Iron Mill and three small dances from Raseborg.

Our group is composed of participants from the dance associations represented at Nordlek 2024. The program consists of Faroese chain dance and dance plays. The performance is with choking (singing). The dance plays are “Gamla kta” - one quits in the verse and dances chain in the chorus, “Sandoyar dansur” - one quails in the verse and dances pair dance in the chorus. “Bandadansur” - one dances in a ring and then dances in pairs towards the audience.

The group showcases traditional Finnish dancers, including the tradition-inspired Ukkonen choreography.

The association's exhibition group presents traditional Icelandic folk dances, melodies and costumes.
